July 20, 2 to 4 pm: Chainmaille Bracelet, with instructor Shawndavid Berry.

Chainmaille BraceletLearn the basics of weaving rings into maille , instructed by Shawndavid Berry.
While learning the basics of weaving rings, the conversation of three dimensional layout is easily discussed. Learn how to make a bracelet while going over shapes and layout for sculpting. It is also a great finger flexibility and dexterity training.
Come in, take the class, make a bracelet.


August 10, 2 to 4 pm: Paint Party, with instructor Roz.

Colorful WaveMake a splash painting a "Colorful Wave" with Roz! Fun, professional instruction, and all materials are provided for you to create your own 12x12 acrylic painting. Suitable for all, ages 6 and up, and no experience needed!


August 11, 2 to 4 pm: Linoleum Block Prints, with instructor Mandy Howe.

Lino Block PrintLearn how to design and carve a 6” square linoleum block. We’ll explore printing a carved linoleum block in black and white and in layers of color. This printing technique is easy and fun to do - no experience necessary. The class is only for teens and adults because the tools are sharp.


August 17, 2 to 4 pm: Intro to Carving, with instructor Shawndavid Berry.

CarvingLearn the basic techniques and body positioning needed for wood carving. In this class, we go over harvesting and drying wood to be used in carving small projects. There will be a small touch into sharpening and tool upkeep.


September 14, 2 to 4 pm: Paint A Sign, with instructor Maureen Kennedy-Antonellis.

Example of Painted SignWe start with a raw piece of wood, Maureen guides you through a multi-step process to create a beautiful sign.


September 15, 2 to 4 pm: Cellini Spiral Beaded Earrings, with instructor Karen Nash.

Cellini Spiral Earrings The class will learn the versatile Cellini spiral beading stitch, and get a good start on earrings like the ones shown. All materials and printed instructions are provided, so each person will have a kit to take home and complete. Class is limited to 5 participants plus instructor.


September 21, 2 to 4 pm: iPhone Photography, with instructor Ron Caplain.

iPhone SecretsIn this class we will learn how to control the various hidden controls on the iPhone - how to take good photographs using this - and how to edit them on the phone using various apps. The class will be about 1-1/2 hours, and suggestion is to bring phone with you

African Helix BraceletsThe class will learn the African Helix beading stitch, and get a good start on a bracelet like those shown here. All materials and printed instructions are provided, so each person will have a kit to take home and complete. Class is limited to 5 participants plus instructor.


October 20, 2 to 4 pm: Mask-Making, with instructor Lisa May.

Leopard MaskIt's that time again, when we start thinking of a mask for Halloween!
Let's do something different and create our own! Make a mask in anticipation of Halloween or just to create a wonderful work of art for your walls. We will use paper mache and plastic mask forms, add paint and decorative touches for a unique creation. The masks will be painted and decorated with a variety of add-ons - make a hawk's beak, bull horns or vampire fangs!


November 9, 2 to 4 pm: Still Life: Pear, with instructor Maureen Kennedy-Antonellis.

Still Life with PearNo painting experience necessary, Maureen will guide you through the whole painting. Yes, you can do it!


November 10, 2 to 4 pm: Cellini Beaded Slide Pendant, with instructor Karen Nash.

Agate Pendant with Cellini BezelThe class will learn the Cellini beaded bezel technique, and get a good start on a slide pendant and beaded bail, as shown. All materials and printed instructions are provided, so each person will have a kit to take home and complete. Class is limited to 5 participants plus instructor.


November 17, 2 to 4 pm: Cast Paper Ornaments, with instructor Lisa May.

Jester OrnamentTis the Season to make your own ornaments to hang from the tree or give as gifts!
Our group will use colorful hand made paper that can be shaped around a variety of forms and with a hook or ribbon will make a sensation at the holiday! Add them to the tree and watch them swing!


November 30, 2 to 4 pm: Holiday Crafts, with instructor Mandy Howe.

Lantern OrnamentsCelebrate the Holidays and make art! Decorate a candle for Christmas and Hanukah, weave a Kwanzaa placemat, make a lantern for Chinese New Year. Draw and stamp patterns to create wrapping paper, photo frames and holiday cards. Tis the Season!
