Mission Statement

The DeBlois Gallery is an artists’ nonprofit co-operative, showing contemporary paintings, ceramic sculpture, original prints and drawings, assemblage, collages, works in mixed media, fiber and metal. Our mission is to provide a professionally-run gallery to the arts community. We think it is important to make exhibition space available to local artists in Rhode Island and Southern Massachusetts, both for professionals to exhibit their most recent work, and for first-time artists to learn the mechanics of an art exhibition.

Exhibitions are free and everyone is welcome.

We are dedicated to encouraging emerging artists, hosting at least one open show each year in which all entries are accepted. It is a constant delight to meet and get to know the work of artists whose work might not otherwise be shown.

Download our Work for Review form here, and submit samples of your work with the completed form before the members' monthly meeting on the first Tuesday after a show opening, or the first Tuesday of the month in February.
